2010 Swim Team


Swim ALERT - the Hammerheads are back and ready to attack!

Swimmers aged 5 and up are invited to join us for the 2011 swim year. Non-HHSTA members are welcome.

Practice Schedule

May 16 - May 27 (Mon - Fri):
  • 6 & under 4:15 - 4:45 PM
  • 7 - 8 years 4:45 - 5:15 PM
  • 9 - 10 years 5:15 - 6:00 PM
  • 11 & older 6:00 - 6:45 PM

May 31 - June 29 (Mon - Fri):
  • 6 & under 8:45 - 9:15 AM
  • 7 - 8 years 9:15 - 9:45 AM
  • 9 - 10 years 9:45 - 10:30 AM
  • 11 & older 10:30 - 11:15 PM

No practice May 30 as it is Memorial Day./

For those who can also attend evening practice in addition or instead starting on May 31st:
  • 6 & under 5:15 - 5:45 PM
  • 7 - 10 years 5:45 - 6:15 PM
  • 11 & older 6:15 - 7:00 PM

Mandatory Parent Meeting for all NEW parents and parents of children aged 5 - 10. Date is May 12.

Swim Meets

Note: First meet is on a Thursday with all the rest on Tuesdays.
  • June 2 VS Byrnwyck (be there by 5:15 for warm up)
  • June 7 AT Home VS Mark Trail (be at HH 5:15 for warm up)
  • June 14 AT Home VS Riverside (be at HH by 5:15 for warm up)
  • June 21 VS Spalding Woods (be there by 5:15 for warm up)
  • June 28 AT Mountaire (be there by 5:15 for warm up)

Optional Additions:
  • June 11 - Marist - Kids for Kids Swim meet (Funds raised for Childrens Hospital
  • June 30 - Garden Hills - Qualifying Meet for State Meet
  • July 29, 30 - Carrolton - State Meet

End of the Season Party:

June 30 with Trophies and Dinner. Starting at 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Fees
  • $75 per swimmer of HHSTA member for first child, $50.00 for second, $40.00 for third
  • $100 per swimmer of non HHSTA member for first child, $75.00 for second, $50.00 for third plus $100.00 per family
  • Family maximum is $165.00 for HHSTA member
  • Family maximum is $225.00 for non HHSTA member plus $100.00 per family
  • The fee provides for coaches, swim team T-shirt, trophy, and ribbons
Swim Team Guest:

A non-member friend can join the swim team for $215. Swim team guests do not receive full-membership privileges, but can participate in all practices and meets!
